Assistant Manager
We are seeking a professional, confident Assistant Manager. This person will be a hands-on leader who enjoys interacting with staff and guests, and who understands and appreciates the importance of putting the guest first. Proven ability in forecasting, training staff  management and executing all aspects of a full-service restaurant. Warm, upbeat hospitality combined with a strong service background is a must. Nightlife experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of service professionals to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met and continue growing our business
  • Manages in compliance with all local, state and Federal beverage and liquor laws
  • Understands beverage control including days on hand, perpetual inventory, bar pars, portion control, costs controls, beverage potentials, mix of sales analysis for beverage, issue & returns, food standards, and period end inventory
  • Monitors adherence to all liquor control policies and procedures
  • Maintains food handling and sanitation standards
  • Trains staff on liquor control policies and procedures
  • Emphasizes guest satisfaction during all departmental meetings and focuses on continuous improvement
  • Ensures employees understand expectations and parameters
  • Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels
  • Responds effectively to guest problems and complaints
  • Active and savvy social media presence

Requirements: 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a restaurant manager in a high-volume bar/restaurant environment
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record and work history
  • Posses a passion for craft food and cocktails
  • Excellent ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of food service techniques and cost controls such as manpower, productivity, food and liquor costs
  • Ability to adapt to and abide by culture of company
Certifications: 
  • Must have or be able to obtain Alcohol Beverage Control Responsible Beverage Service Training certification  
  • Current Food Handlers Permit OR Manager Serve Safe Certificate
Compensation: $68,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
